Today, July 20th, 2009 is the 40th anniversary since the first man stepped upon our moon. This historical event has been all over the web today but Google’s Earth has added more multimedia and education into their Google Earth app than anything I’ve ever seen. Not only can you literally fly around the moon, but you can see each Apollo mission, where the astronauts landed, walked and performed missions. This new piece to Google Earth is amazing and everyone should watch this.
Also, if you’re talented with singing and creating “jingles,” you could win Bing’s Jingle Contest and come home with $500 in cash! For more information on what they need are how to upload your Bing.com jingle, please click here.
Finally, if you’ve ever used your iPhone’s camera, you know it’s hard to always get everything in a panoramic view – well now, thanks to Pano ($2.99 in iTunes App Store), you can take 16 consecutive photos of a scene and this app will automatically stitch them into 1 panoramic photo for you to share with all of your family and friends. It’s perfect for your summer vacation trips! Check this out!
Lastly, our 100th episode is coming soon, so if you’re not following me on Twitter, you’re not going to see how you can win a huge prize on our 100th episode! Details to come via Twitter soon!
