Google let out a bomb to Microsoft and anyone listening for that matter: they’ve created and will launch a new, never before developed OS called Chrome OS. It’s first target will be for netbooks which will allow an immediate boot up time for you to get your email and immediately browse the web. What makes Chrome OS so different is how light it is as well as it’s open-source which means web apps will be made on it from people all over the world, much like the App Store is today.
