Tonight is a big night for you Facebook fans. Instead of having a crazy and long URL for your Facebook profile, Facebook is allowing a first come, first serve opportunity to crteate your vanity name for Facebook – it starts tonight (Friday at 11:00pm CST or Saturday 12:00am EST). For example, I am hoping to have my Facebook profile named http://www.facebook.com/jeffmccord so in order to have that done, I need to register my vanity name at 11:00pm CST tonight at this location. You much click http://www.facebook.com/username to register your profile vanity name.
Also, Microsoft reported big news that has anti-virus companies such as Symantec and a few others shaking in their boots – Microsoft’s “Morro” is FREE to any Windows user and claims to be as powerful as a
$40 to $60 version of the most popular anti-virus software around. We tell you when Morro comes out so please pay attention to this show for more details.
Finally, the Eye-Fi Pro Wireless SD card is the moxiest gadget yet. It’s a 4gb SD card that you insert into any digital camera and it will automagically upload your photos AND videos directly to your computer the minute you take the photo. They’ve had a previous version before but this one allows video uploads so I think it’s quite cool. It retails for $149 and you can buy it here.
Last but not least, SquareSpace (a sponsor of the Moxie Mo Show that allows you to create some of the most professional looking websites, is having a 30 day contest on Twitter where they give a free 8gb iPhone away to one Twitter user PER DAY. Details are in the episode on how to enter so you can win yours!

Hey, you’re lucky that it’s at 11:00pm for you. I would have to wait for midnight, which isn’t worth it to me…
If I’m up, I may do it, otherwise I will take my chance.
You’re still doing a great job!
