The Palm Pre continues to have video taped “unboxings” all over the net this week which causes us to think that Palm Pre could be coming out sooner rather than later. It’s a glorious smart phone and the Moxie Mo thinks it’s the #1 competition for the iPhone, once it comes out.
Twitter has been in the news this week – first, Oprah Winfrey broke a record by getting 1 million followers in just 28 days. Truly, a feat she has accomplished.
That bad news though is yet again Twitter. Today, a rumor was spread by the LA Times on Twitter that Prop 8 (the amendment to ban gay marriage) has been overturned, which the LA Times finally retracted as incorrect and a mistake on their part. But it seems Twitter people from all over the world have be retweeting the LA Times mistake and now it’s the #1 trend topic on Twitter for today causing major confusion and a public nightmare for not only the LA Times but for Twitter. We discuss the implications of Twitter’s misinformation and why it’s important to always be careful what you tweet or retweet.
