MM65: Dell’s Adamo, IE8 Fully Released and Cisco Buys the Flip?

Big news came out at the end of the week including the latest and final release of Internet Explorer 8. The Moxie Mo discusses the pros to the new version over its predecessor including new tabs, high speed browsing, visual search and much more. It’s definitely a browser you may want to download.
Also, Dell’s highly anticipated Adamo has come out and it carries a very high price tag and looks very similar to the Macbook Air. The very slin design comes packed with the latest in processing and has a solid-state hard drive as well. But for $2,000, we were hoping this laptop could fly us to our job or something moxie like that! What are your thoughts? Leave a comment below.
Finally, Cisco announced this weekend that they will be purchasing Pure Digital, the owners of the ever-so-popular Flip Video Cameras. I used a Flip Mino HD for the Moxie Mo Show (December – January) and was pleased with the ease of using it. It still needed a lot more features though and now that Cisco is the proud papa, I think we may be seeing a Flip that can upload wirelessly to your favorite video sites… soon! We shall see.
The winner to our iPhone 3.0 comments contest is Lionel Archuleta. He guessed almost every change that came with the iPhone 3.0 OS and therefore he chose his gift – a $20.00 iTunes gift card that is coming his way. Congrats Lionel.
You can always support the show by visiting our Sponsors AND getting moxie discounts off tons of fun things for you and your family. All the information is here.
