Part Two of Recession Proof Your Career deals with the worst part of a recession: layoffs. You may have gone through a layoff or you may be dealing with the possibility of a layoff as we speak. Either way, you need to know you’re going to be okay.
As a recruiter for 10 years now, I know a few things about laying off employees. I also know what it will take for someone to get back on their feet and find a new job. Here are some tried and true tips for you to find a new job and to get your life back in order after suffering a layoff.
