  1. John Congdon Says:

I am so sorry to hear about your brother’s bout with cancer. I am lucky because my mom had Colon/Rectal cancer about 10 years ago and she survived it. It was a very scary time for us, but it did cause me to start making sure that I get checked regularly. It’s sad that some men are afraid to be tested because they think a doctor checking the rectum will somehow test their manhood.

Let’s get over it people. Cancer is serious. Again, I am sorry for your loss, especially at such a young age. :(

  2. Bruce Says:

I am sorry to hear about your brother. This year, my mother was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Fortunately, the cancer was encapsulated and intact in her kidney. So, the removal of her kidney removed the cancer. She is still very weak and needs to gain a lot of weight, but I am thankful for her strength of spirit.

I will watch the tv show tonight in your brother’s honor!

  3. Moxie Mo Says:

Thanks Bruce and John. John, your mom is VERY lucky and I hope you tell her that you love her every single day!

Bruce, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. A friend of mine was diagnosed with kidney cancer and fortunately, the same news - it was encapsulated, by the grace of God. Whew, a scary time.

Cancer is my #1 worst enemy.
